NCAA Rankings 2018-19

165 Alex Marinelli

The undefeated Alex Marinelli toppled the previously undefeated Vincenzo Joseph to claim the #1 ranking for the first time in his career. Logan Massa did well for himself in Minneapolis, beating Evan Wick and Isaiah White to move up to #3.

Branson Ashworth got upset by Andrew Fogarty in Tulsa. He drops to #11 and Fogarty bumps up to #14. Ashworth also defeated Joe Smith, wrestling at 165 for the first time this year. Smith placed fifth at Big 12s, and is ranked below the four Big 12 165-pounders who finished higher on the podium.

Jon Viruet lost to Lenny Merkin and Ebed Jarrell at EIWAs, dropping out of the rankings. EIWA champ Tanner Skidgel sneaks into the final spot in the rankings. Also making an appearance (or reappearance) in the rankings are Te'Shan Campbell and Carson Brolsma from the Big Ten Conference and Zach Finesilver from the ACC.
