NCAA Rankings 2018-19
285 Anthony Cassar
We get a new #1 as Anthony Cassar beat the former consensus #1 in Gable Steveson. Cassar does have a loss to Derek White, who did nothing but win the Big 12 title last weekend, so there is an argument for the Cowboy Bulk Job to be in the top spot. Ultimately we went with the most recent win to break the tie for Cassar, which pushed White down to three because of the head-to-head loss to Steveson.
Youssif Hemedia had an excellent tournament in Minneapolis, placing third and moving up to #6. Sam Stoll did not fare as well, losing to Jake Aven and falling to #12 in the rankings.
In Fairfax, Virginia, Thomas Haines beat Matt Voss to move ahead in the rankings. In Binghamton, Joey Goodhart beat Jeremy Sweany of Cornell to knock the former out of the top 20 and snagging the final spot at #20.
