NCAA Rankings 2018-19
285 Amar Dhesi
Heavyweight added a big name when it was announced that Amar Dhesi will return for his final year of eligibility. We last saw Dhesi competing for Canada at the UWW World Championships in October. As the highest returning placer, he enters the top 20 at #1.
Jake Gunning caused the other big change in the 285-pound rankings. His victory over Matt Voss, against only one loss on the season to #9 Trent Hillger, allows him to re-enter the rankings all the way up at #13. Voss, who also lost to NC State's Colin Lawler, drops to #14. Wins over Cory Daniel and Thomas Haines keeps Voss from falling any further.
