Below are the fourth pound-for-pound rankings of the women’s collegiate wrestling season, which includes all divisions. Off-season results from the past year factored into the rankings but those increasingly decrease as championship season draws near.

Below are the second pound-for-pound rankings of the women’s collegiate wrestling season, which includes all divisions. Off-season results factored slightly into the rankings but the most recent college results weighed heaviest.

Adaugo Nwachukwu's wrestling journey seems nearly impossible. Nwachukwu left Nigeria for California in 2018 and found the sport as a sophomore. She expected rings and ropes but realized quickly that high school wrestling was far different than the theatrics seen on television.

Jenna Burkert went 1-2 at the 2022 World Cup but you’d never know it. Burkert took a heartwrenching 7-6 loss to Bolortuya Bat Ochir of Mongolia during the bronze medal match following a lost challenge.

Aurora’s Lexi Janiak’s college career didn’t get off to a good start. The freshman phenom from Plainfield, Illinois, opened her season by losing to North Central’s Sara Sterner in her first dual. Oh, by the way, she got pinned.

Ali Savadkouhi becomes the first-ever Iranian to beat Jordan Burroughs at the 2022 World Cup.

It's the medal matches of the 2022 UWW Men's and Women's Freestyle Wrestling World Cup from Coralville, Iowa. Team USA has a women's match at 12 noon eastern time against Mongolia for bronze, and a men's match at 7 pm eastern against Iran for gold.
