The semi-finals at the World Team Trials will take place on Sunday, May 22 at 11:00 am (ET) and will decide Final X spots for 16 weights across men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle, and Greco-Roman. The 2022 World Team Trials are set to go down in Coralville, Iowa May 21-22. This tournament will set the top two wrestlers at every weight who will wrestle-off for the world team spot in June at Final X. Seeds for the trials likely won't be released until a few days prior to the tournament, but because of its importance, we decided to predict what the top 7-8 seeds at each weight will look like. The 2021 NCAA Champion Iowa Hawkeyes aren’t going anywhere next season. All six seniors from the team have confirmed they’ll be using their extra year of eligibility and returning. Meaning, Iowa will most likely have the exact same lineup that won them a team title.
