2019-20 New Jersey High School Rankings

New Jersey High School Rankings: 152

In what was probably the most wide-open weight in the state, Toms River North’s Boggiano was the lone man standing in the end. Despite taking a loss in the region final just a week earlier, Boggiano pinned Dylan Weaver in a wild scramble in the semis, before besting Ayzerov in the final.

Ayzerov, meanwhile, flies up the rankings after an incredible state tournament run himself. First, he avenged a region finals loss of his own by pinning Strashinsky in the quarters before knocking off Mooney in ultimate tiebreaker in the next round.

Delsea’s Jared Schoppe was the next freshman to place at a competitive upperweight. In what was a bit of a down year for the powerhouse squad out of South Jersey, Shoppe will look to set the tone for the future of the Delsea program.

DeIntinis slots in at #10 thanks, in part, to his win over Weaver earlier this season.
