NCAA Rankings 2018-19

133 Stevan Micic

Let no one ever accuse 133-pounds of being boring. A week after beating Daton Fix, Micky Phillippi loses to Korbin Myers. Myers has losses on the season to Noah Gonser and John Erneste, but that win was enough to get him a top ten ranking, right behind Erneste. Phillippi falls being Suriano, who beat him in the CKLV finals, but one through five is a very tightly packed tier.

In West Lafayette, Ben Thornton beat Roman Bravo-Young, catapulting him into the top 20.

In Orem, Utah, Sean Nickell beat Matt Schmitt, earning himself a seat at the top 20 table. Meanwhile, in Champaign, Illinois, Dylan Duncan lost to Iowa's Paul Glynn and drops out of the rankings. Additionally, Thornton and Nickell's wins mean Josh Terao of American is also pushed out of the rankings and on the bubble of one of the most competitive weights in the NCAA.
