The returning state champion Aaron Seidel has continued to run the table. Seidel is 28-0 with all but two of his matches this season ending in a fall or technical fall. Ayden Smith finally got a major tournament title after falling short of a championship at Ironman, Beast of the East, and Powerade. Smith was able to defeat Tyler Dekraker of Blair Academy in tiebreakers to win the Escape the Rock title to move up to the #7 ranking in the country at 106 pounds. Returning state qualifier Jacob Sombronski moved into the rankings at #4 as he is 10-0 on the season with all bonus point wins. Seth Kolb took losses to both Mason Beatty and Gage Swank to fall to #8 at 107 pounds. As a result, Beatty and Swank moved into the rankings at #6 and #7, respectively.
