Two-time state champion Jaden Pepe picked up controlled wins over #6 Dylan Granahan, #3 Conner Heckman, and returning state champion #2 Scott Johnson to win the Northeast Region title. Pepe has one of the strongest resumes in Pennsylvania and will be looking to win his third state crown this weekend before moving on to Harvard next season. Heckman dropped down from 139 pounds and entered the 133-pound rankings at #3 after picking up two wins over #6 Granahan. Returning state medalist JoJo Przybycien dropped down from 139 pounds and won the Northwest Region title to enter the rankings at #5. Peter Chacon picked up wins over #8 Jamison Poklembo and #10 Gaven Suica to enter the rankings at #7, while Poklembo defeated #9 Kross Cassidy and #10 Suica to enter the rankings at #8.
