2022-23 Pennsylvania High School AA Rankings

Two-time state medalist Chris Vargo defeated #3 Coen Bainey for the second time this season and followed that up by avenging a loss from the District 6 final over Cooper Hornack to win the Southwest Region title and maintain the #1 ranking. Hornack moved into the #2 ranking by splitting those matches with Vargo while also out-placing Bainey at the regional tournament. Arment Waltenbaugh entered the 127-pound rankings at #4 by picking up wins over #5 Hayden Andrus and #6 Steven Harris to win the Southeast Region title. Marvin Armistead dropped from 133 pounds and entered the rankings at #7 after splitting matches with Andrus. Cyrus Hurd had a great Northwest Regional tournament where he defeated Hunter Gould and Cole Householder to win the title and enter the rankings at #8.
