Vince Bouzakis has looked strong all season and won the Southeast Region title with a controlled win over #5 Max Stein. Bouzakis will be looking for gold in his first PIAA state tournament. Returning state medalist Kaden Milheim picked up wins over Chase Burke and Cade Wirnsberger the last couple of weekends to move up to the #2 ranking at 145 pounds. Burke took out Wirnsberger in the Northeast Region semifinals to move ahead of him to the #3 ranking. Trent Hoover defeated Calan Bollman and Gage Heilbrun in the last few weeks to move up to the #6 ranking. Bollman defeated Heilbrun in the Southwest Region semifinals to move into the rankings at #7, while Gage Wentzel moved into the rankings at #8 as he has two wins over #3 Chase Burke over the last month despite finishing fourth at the Northeast Regional.
