2021-22 Michigan High School Rankings: 171

Ranked No. 6 in the nation pound-for-pound, Rojas avenged an earlier loss to Remy Cotton (Traverse City Central) for his second straight state championship. Rojas is an Iowa State recruit currently ranked No. 1 in the nation at 170. He was 32-2 last season, including a win over Division 1, 215-pound state champion Jimmy Colley (Davison). Rojas has a 99-12 career high school mark.

Recently, Rojas captured his first Fargo crown (junior freestyle, 170 pounds) after placing second twice as a cadet. He bested Brayden Thompson of Illinois in the final. Rojas also knocked off state champions Brody Baumann (Indiana) and Sabino Portella (New Jersey). Baumann is ranked No. 14 in the nation at 170 while Portella Is No. 16 at 189.
