Gonzales has been virtually untouchable the past two seasons. He won his second consecutive state championship recently and finished the season unbeaten for the second straight year (21-0). Gonzales boasts a 127-3 high school record. Next season, he can become the first Holly wrestler to win more than two state championships. Gonzales recently finished second at 160 pounds at Central Regionals, falling to Division 1 state champion Josh Barr (Davison) in the final.
