Davis won a third Division 3 state championship this season and finished 44-2 with losses only to four-time state champion Dylan Gilcher (Detroit Catholic Central), who is ranked #4 nationally at 152 and Ohio's Brock Herman, #6 at 145. He knocked off three-time state champion Darius Marines and two-time champion Clayton Jones, both of Detroit CC, this season. 

Davis, who is headed to Bucknell, was also second in the 2022 Grappler Fall Classic.
