Horwath is No. 7 in the current national 120-pound rankings, but should wrestle mostly at this weight during the season. Last fall, he became just the second sophomore from Michigan to capture a Super 32 high school title, joining Davison teammate Alex Facundo (2018). He was also Grappler Fall Classic champion this year.  Horwath went 43-2 in winning the Division 1 state title last season and beat Delaware state champion Luke Poore at a duals competition in Pennsylvania in January.
