Horwath is No. 7 in the current national 113-pound rankings, but should wrestle at this weight again. No. 35 on the Class of 2023 Big Board, he finished eighth in Fargo for All-American honors despite losing his final two matches by injury default. Horwarth won a second straight state championship last season while helping Davison to its first team state title since 2006. Horwath finished 27-0 and boasts a 70-2 career mark. Last fall, he became just the second sophomore from Michigan to capture a Super 32 high school title and was Grappler Fall Classic champion.
