2019 International Rankings - Men's Freestyle

70 KG David Baev (RUS)

Baev's run to a Russian National title went through #2 Zhamalov and #3 Zherbaev. Naturally, the Ossetian will travel to Nur-Sultan as the #1 ranked 70 kilo wrestler in the world.

2018 world bronze medalist and 2017 world gold medalist Iakobishvili was beaten by compatriot Kelekhashvili in Tblisi, dropping the former down a couple notches and earning the latter a #15 debut.

Yavuz's recent victories over three ranked wrestlers, Ramazanov, Green, and Kaipanov, earned the Turk a top ten rank. Ramazanov's victory over Gadhziev gives him the nod just below Yavuz.

There was turmoil and circular wins in the lower half of the rankings over the last couple of months, so your milage may vary regarding the final half dozen spots.
