2024-25 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings
149 - Ridge Lovett
Ridge Lovett takes over the #1 spot after winning NCAAs where he defeated Caleb Henson, Shayne Van Ness, Kannon Webster, Ty Whalen, and Sam Cartella.
Dylan D'Emilio jumps to #4 after defeating Lachlan McNeil and Ethan Stiles on his way to a fourth-place finish at NCAAs.
Kyle Parco holds at #7 after losing to Ethan Stiles and injury defaulting out of the NCAA Tournament. Parco recorded wins during the regular season over Ridge Lovett, Dylan D'Emilio, Lachlan McNeil, Kannon Webster, and several other ranked wrestlers. It's important to note that we don't count injury defaults towards rankings and Parco's resume is strong enough to hold him at the #7 spot.
Though Kannon Webster lost to Gavin Drexler, Webster holds at #10 for his wins on the year over Colin Realbuto, Shayne Van Ness, and Dylan D'Emilio. Meanwhile, Drexler is kept from rising higher because of losses on the year to Colin Realbuto, Avery Allen, Brock Rogers, Wynton Denkins, Drew Roberts, and Willie McDougald.
Because there were so many upsets at the NCAA Tournament, we'll limit our rankings explanations to the top 15. If you have any questions, we welcome and encourage your feedback.
