2023 World Championship Rankings

Country Rank

Russia and Belarus have been permitted to compete at the World Championships as "Individual Neutral Athletes." That means they will not be eligible to win a team trophy. However, for these rankings, I wanted to include their points in order to show how Russia compares to Team USA. As the below scores indicate, it's a neck-and-neck race with the United States and Russia with Iran trailing closely in third.

Wrestlers earn points for placing in the top 10 at worlds. Team points are calculated in congruence with UWW’s top 10 placement points for world championship team scoring: 25, 20, 15, 15, 10, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.
