Second place Iran will be the biggest to challenge Team USA. Iran is ranked to earn 8 medals as well - 1 gold, 4 silvers, and 3 bronze. 

Wrestlers earn points for placing in the top 10 at worlds. Team points are calculated in congruence with UWW’s top 10 placement points for world championship team scoring: 25, 20, 15, 15, 10, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.
