2022-23 Ohio Division III High School Rankings

138 pounds

The top three at the weight proved their rankings looking impressive heading into the state championships. #1 Homan had a tough finals match against #5 Owen Miller of Oak Harbor. Homan won the match 2-0, clearly showing that Miller can not be overlooked. #2 Brown looked the most impressive, with three pins and a tech fall added to his resume after the weekend. His tech-fall win was over #4 Hendricks. Hendricks would bounce back to finish in third, so he will stay in the top five.

#3 King had the strongest route beating two ranked wrestlers to take home the Harrison Central district title. He pinned #6 Fister in the semi-finals and then majored #7 Campbell in the district finals. Both of these wins are extremely solid, and they will set up King nicely heading into the final weekend.
