2022-23 Ohio Division II High School Rankings
190 pounds
#1 Max Ray took home a district title beating #6 Hutcheson in the finals. #2 Kyle Snider had a similar story but beat the #5 ranked wrestling Thomas from Bedford in the district finals. Chet Mannier lost to Joshua Snell in the early rounds of districts, but he would eventually avenge this loss in the third-place match. However, Collin Willet would beat Snell on the top side, so he entered the rankings right above Mannier at #9.
Garfield Heights had some drama to shake up the rankings too. Snider beat former-ranked Badiu on the top side, but the fundamental shift happened when Bryce Wheatley won a 3-1 decision in the ticket round over Wheatley. Ben DiMarco had a slightly better tournament beating Wheatley in the third-place match to slot him into the top 10.
