2022-23 Ohio Division II High School Rankings

126 pounds

126 in Division 2 Wrestling remains similar, with every ranked wrestler proving their ranking. #4 Heckman had a great tournament making the finals. He was set up nicely after removing #5 Barker in their sectional final. At the end of the day, #1 Skinner remains on top, beating Barker and Heckman at Garfield Heights. Collin Twigg was lights out, pinning three of his four opponents, including his win in the finals at Norwalk.

Steubenville also saw a ton of ranked wrestlers facing off, trying to punch their tickets to state. #7 Pidgeon took out #8 Steagall and #9 Strader on his route to a district title. #10 Gavin Hoover was also the fourth-place finisher in the district, adding to the depth. Finally, King either tech-falled or pinned everyone he wrestled in the Wilmington district.
