We're entering into a phenomenal era of US wrestling. More and more athletes are able to wrestle for a living full time post college and the RTC structure has been a big reason for this. The recent RTC Cup was a success and hopefully laid the ground work for similar events in the future. It also had me reminiscing about the wild time this spring and summer when it seemed like every other day a major athlete was transferring from one RTC to another.

The recent RTC Cup was a success and hopefully laid the ground work for similar events in the future. It also had me reminiscing about the wild time this spring and summer when it seemed like every other day a major athlete was transferring from one RTC to another. 

Big time transfers are still occurring, Nahshon Garret and Joe Colon are the most recent, but not quite like as often as back at the beginning of quarantine. Some of these weren't that surprising and some we never saw coming. Either way, it was a fun several months of news when we didn't have live wrestling. So, take a little trip down memory lane and look at how far USA Wrestling has come that athletes have as many good opportunities and places to train as they do.
