The 2023 Senior World Championships will occur in Belgrad, Serbia, September 16-24. Team USA will send 10 wrestlers per style to Belgrade to compete against the best wrestlers in the world. Helen Maroulis and Xochitl Mota-Pettis will compete for the 57 kg women’s freestyle berth on the 2023 Senior World Team in a best-of-three series on Saturday, August 12 at the Air Force Academy Cadet Fieldhouse at the U.S. Air Force Academy, just north of Colorado Springs, Colo.

A date and time for the best-of-three Final X series between Helen Maroulis and Xochitl Mota-Pettis have finally been set. The series was postponed by Maroulis and will take place on Saturday, August 12 at the Air Force Academy Field House at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

College athletics changed when the NCAA developed the transfer portal in 2018. This became a streamlined tool for athletes to seamlessly transfer from one institution to another without losing eligibility.
