2019 Russian Federation Rankings - Men's Freestyle

P4P:

Rankings by Seth Petarra (@SethPetar).

Lots of movement here and that is mainly due to two-time World bronze medalist Akhmed Chakaev and two-time World silver medalist Gadzhimurad Rashidov slipping down the list. #6 Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov takes the #3 spot of the strength of his two world titles and domestic dominance he’s had over 70 KG.

#9 Ilyas Bekbulatov moved up three spots to #6 in the rankings of the strength of past wins over Chakaev, Soslan Ramonov, #18 Tsabolov, and #15 Kuular. #10 Vladislav Baitsaev takes the #5 spot off the strength of his five straight medals in a row at Russian Nationals (silver in 2015, 17, 18, and bronze in 14 and 16) to go along with wins over World/Olympic medalists and champions like Khadzhimurad Gatsalov, Anzor Boltukaev, Elizbar Odikadze, Sharif Sharifov, Georgi Gogschelidze, and Khetag Gozyumov.

#1 at 70 KG Evgeni Zherbaev debuts in the P4P at #14. The reason for this is because he took a loss this year at the Mongolia Open at 74 KG to Arslan Budazhapov (KGZ). With former #7 Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov out with a knee injury for the rest of the year, current #1 at 79 KG Magomed Ramazanov moves up to the #23 slot.
