#3 Pavel Krivstov moves up to #2 behind two-time World fifth-place finisher Anzor Khizriev after winning the President Cup of Buryatia over #10 (INT) Daniel Ligeti. The reason he is ahead of #3 Zelimkhan Khizriev is because both him and Khizriev’s high rankings are dependent on strong international wins and Khizriev’s international win (Deng at the Yarygin) is outweighed by Krivstov’s international win (Ligeti at the President Cup of Buryatia, due to the fact Ligeti beat Deng for bronze at the Kolov).
