NCAA Rankings 2017-18

197: Cassar Earns A Place At The Table

Anthony Cassar has earned himself a spot in the rankings now that he has an official NCAA win over teammate Matt McCutcheon to complement the fact that he's started every dual meet for Penn State this season. Cassar also beat No. 12 Frank Mattiace in the Keystone Classic finals; however his loss to Garrett Hoffman holds him back from debuting in the top 10.

Outside the top 10 there is plenty of chaos, most of it swirling around Corey Griego. The Oregon State junior beat Jeric Kasunic, who beat Christian Brunner, who beat Daniel Chaid and Kyle Conel. Meanwhile, Scottie Boykin beat Nathan Traxler, who beat Hunter Ritter.

There are about a dozen wrestlers who have arguments to also be placed in one of those final five spots, so this won't be the last time we rearrange everything.
