2022-23 Pennsylvania High School AAA Rankings

139 pounds

This weight class just got a whole lot more interesting. Returning PIAA third-place medalist, Kollin Rath has continued to impress this season after picking up the Escape the Rock title at 139 pounds with a win over the returning state champion Pierson Manville to jump over Manville to the #1 ranking. Another returning PIAA champion from last season, Dalton Perry, made the jump up from 133 pounds after winning the Escape the Rock title and is 3-0 since making the move back up to 139 pounds. Returning PIAA third-place finisher Maddox Shaw also returned back up to 139 pounds after a third-place finish at Powerade down at 133 pounds and is 14-0 since moving back up. Manville won the King of The Mountain title earlier this year with close wins over both Perry and Shaw to maintain the #2 ranking at this weight. Along with that, Perry out-placed Shaw at both the King of the Mountain and Powerade this season and defeated Shaw in a very close matchup in the state semifinals last season. All of these guys are super impressive underclassmen, with Manville being the oldest as a junior, and all are of them nationally ranked. Julian Everitt also made the drop-down from 145 pounds and moves into the 139-pound rankings at #5 in what is arguably the most loaded weight class in all of Pennsylvania.
