2022-23 Pennsylvania High School AAA Rankings

121 pounds

Cael Nasdeo has continued to dominate the second half of the season and has picked up bonus points in his last 20 bouts, including two forfeits. Nasdeo will be favored to win his first state championship this weekend before moving on to the next level at Penn State next season. The rest of the weight looks quite a bit different as Tahir Parkins moved up to 127 pounds for the postseason and returning state champion Zac Jacaruso will miss the postseason with an injury. Christian Horvath won the Northeast Region with a win over #7 Trey Wagner to move up to the #2 ranking. Mason Ziegler won the Southeast Region and moved up to #3. Dean Houser defeated #8 Kamdyn Williams by fall and followed that up with a win by fall over #5 James Garcia to enter the rankings at #4. Garcia picked up a big win himself over #6 Marco Tocci to enter the rankings at #5. Wagner moved down from 127 pounds and entered the rankings at #7. Ryan Klingensmith won the Southwest Region and entered the rankings at #10.
