2022-23 EIWA Rankings

125 pounds

It appears we may have seen the last round of the Pat Glory-Vito Arujau rivalry last season, at least in folkstyle. The two split matches with Glory winning in the dual and Arujau winning dominantly in the finals of the EIWA finals before Glory won by a 13-5 major decision in the NCAA semifinals. Glory went on to finish as the NCAA runner-up and has now made the decision to stay down at 125 pounds in an attempt to prevent Spencer Lee from winning his fourth NCAA crown. Ryan Miller had wins over Joe Manchio and Jaret Lane last season to claim the #2 ranking at 125 pounds. Manchio took a 4-3 decision over Lane in the dual, while Lane will be returning after a shortened season due to injury. Greg Diakomihalis is the expected starter at 125 pounds for Cornell with Arujau moving up to 133 pounds and should throw an interesting wrench into this field.
