2021-22 Pennsylvania AAA Rankings

285 pounds

The major change at 285 pounds heading into Hershey is returning state runner-up Sean Kinney taking the #1 ranking after avenging a loss to Matthew Cruise. Former #1 William McChesney is 34-0 on the season, as he and Kinney look to be on a collision course to meet one another in the PIAA state finals with the heavyweight crown on the line. Ty Banco falls out of the rankings after taking three losses over the last few weeks, including one to #8 Noah Tustin. Layton Schmick falls to #9 after being upset by Tyrese Washington a couple of weeks ago, which he was able to avenge later on that weekend. With Banco and Schmick falling, #6-10 were able to move up in the rankings. Trevor Gallagher entered the rankings at #10 after a strong finish to his season heading into the state tournament.
