The big shakeup here at 106 pounds heading into championship weekend was Nico Fanella taking his first loss of the season to Luke Willochel, 7-3, in the Southwest Regional final. That result catapulted Willochel up to #4 and dropped Fanella from the #2 to the #6. Liam Flanagan picked up wins over Dean Houser and Marco Tocci to move up to #8. Houser picked up a fall over Tocci to work his way into rankings up to #9. Aiden Beimel moved back into the rankings after winning the Northwest Regional title.
