The results from both Russian Nationals and Final X caused a bit of chaos in the rankings at 125kg. First, at Final X, Hayden Zillmer took out Nick Gwiazdowski in a wild 3-match series. Because of his efforts, Zillmer slides into the rankings at #17 over 2-time world medalist Gwiazdowski. 

At Russian Nationals, Alen Khubolov came out with the gold medal after receiving a forfeit in the finals from #5 Tamerlan Rasuev. Khubolov reached the finals with ranked wins over #10 Baldan Tsyzhipov and #11 Alan Khugaev. Rasuev had an equally impressive run to the finals by defeating # 7 Gamzat Alizhudinov, #8 Zelimkhan Khizriev, and #6 Eric Dzhioev.
