Vasyl Shuptar slides into the rankings after defeating fellow countryman #20 Erik Arushanian at the Ukrainian Cup on August 17th. Ukraine hasn’t declared who will be the rep at 65kg but expect either Shuptar or Arushanian to wrestle in Oslo. 

At the CIS Games, #13 Alik Khadartsev came away with gold after defeating Ikromjon Hadjimuradov (KGZ) in the finals. Khadartsev was a junior world bronze medalist in 2019 and could challenge to make the senior world team this year if Gadzhimurad Rashidov chooses not to attend worlds in October.
