97 Abdulrashid Sadulaev

#1 Abdulrashid Sadulaev was back in action for the first time in 7 months. Sadulaev was challenged by #9 Mojtaba Goleij, unranked Magomedkhan Magomedov and #4 Vladislav Valiev. Though Sadulaev came out victorious in those matches, he ultimately forfeited in the finals to #13 Magomed Ibragimov (UZB). Since we do not factor injury defaults into rankings, Sadulaev stays at the top spot. Along the same lines, Mojtaba Goleij came back to win bronze over Baitsaev via forfeit so he does not move ahead of Baitsaev in the rankings. 

Sharif Sharifov looks to be getting back to form by winning the Yasar Dogu. During his run to gold, he avenged a loss to #15 Givi Matcharashvili, 3-0. Back in January, Matcharashvili defeated Sharifov at the Henri Deglane, 8-3.
