Erik Arushanian enters the rankings after winning gold at U23 Euros and taking out Abdulmazhid Kudiev in a thrilling, 13-10 finals bout. Kudiev holds his spot in the rankings based on his bronze medal finish at 2021 Russian Nationals where he defeated Ramazan Ferzaliev.

While Alik Khadartsev has had past success at age level tournaments (2019 Jr. World Bronze), he enters the rankings due to his breakthrough senior level performance at The Yarygin. Khadartsev defeated both Ramazan Ferzaliev and Dasha Sharastepanov on his way to Gold. Sharastepanov re-enters the rankings with his silver medal finish at The Yarygin and defeating Nachyn Kuular.
