2019-20 NCAA DI Rankings

157 Deakin-structing Harry

Wyatt Sheets had perhaps the biggest upset of the week when he defeated Iowa All-American Kaleb Young in Carver-Hawkeye. Sheets moves all the way up to #11, behind Josh Humphreys, who beat Sheets earlier this season. Humphreys drops a spot himself after a loss to a surging Jacori Teemer.

Young falls to #6, behind Jesse Dellavecchia, who has split matches with Monday this season and has but one other loss on the season to #2 Hidlay. Kendall Coleman, who has lost to Young twice this season, stays below him in the rankings and also drops a spot.

The aforementioned Teemer moves up to #15 after beating two ranked opponents this week, Humphreys and AC Headlee. Teemer is held back by losses to Peyton Robb, Justin Thomas and Justin McCoy, but there is an astounding amount of parity at this weight class so don't to shocked if there are more upsets in the postseason.

That parity was on full display in the ACC at 157 as it was in 133, as there was a round-robin of conflicting results between multiple competitors. AC Headlee beat Rahmani and LaPrade but lost to McCoy; Justin McCoy beat Headlee but lost to Rahmani and LaPrade; BC LaPrade beat McCoy but lost to Headlee and Rahmani; and Taleb Rahmani beat LaPrade and McCoy but lost to Headlee. We used best-wins to break the ties. Headlee beat #8 Lewan, Rahmani beat #10 Humphreys, McCoy beat #15 Teemer, and LaPrade beat #16 Parks, and so that's the order we have them, however, your mileage with this particular set of 'ranker's delights' may vary.

Finally, Jake Tucker, who has two wins over Zac Carson and one over Justin Ruffin but also losses to unranked Ryan Thomas and #25 Jarrett Jacques, has his resume reassessed and finds his ranker's equilibrium at #20.

There are a host of wrestlers on the bubble who can do damage in the postseason, so look for a deep run from one or more unranked wrestlers in March.
