2019-20 NCAA DI Rankings

157 Hi-Dee Hidlay Ho

Quite the adventure at 157-pounds this week. Will Lewan lost to AC Headlee at the Hokie Open, but only falls one spot as several other wrestlers in the top 25 took losses that dropped them down the list. 

Rather than explain every change in the rankings, I'll just list the relevant results. Call it a cop-out if you most but the only thing we're confident about regarding this week's order is that it will probably change a good amount next week and most week following that. 

As mentioned, Headlee beat Lewan, but Headlee also lost to Phyllip DeLoach last week in his first tournament at 157. Luke Weiland beat Eric Barone, Alex Klucker beat Justin Thomas, Justin McCoy beat Jacori Teemer (who did his best work last season on redshirt down at 149-pounds, and thus doesn't have much of an anchor at 157), Colton Yapoujian beat Zach Hartman, and Jared Franek beat Carson Brolsma. 

The net result is far more high-caliber wrestlers than there are spots in the top 25. Your mileage may vary!
