High School Rankings 2019-2020

All The Fargo Fallout

What a Fargo it was. 57 ranked high schoolers in JR Freestyle alone DNP'd. That doesn't mean the rankings were wrong; it means America is chock full of young talent. The wrestlers from hypothetic #21 to #35 can beat those in the Top 20 any given day.

Click on the individual weight classes for notes on movement. The next set of rankings will reflect confirmed weight changes and within that - how it affects Who's #1.

Watch WNO: The Show for our thoughts on the weight class changes and how Who's #1 is shaping up.

In the P4P -

Taking wrestlers out due to inactivity is an inexact science. AJ Ferrari has been out since the end of the regular school year after having shoulder surgery. Normally I'd take such cases out. But his status is not in doubt.

I can't say the same about Vasquez, who has wrestled very sparingly over the past two years - he's only elective tournament was S32 last October. He comes out and Paddy Gallagher, who won Fargo and who beat a P4P wrestler (Connor Brady) in state finals.

Amos won his third Fargo freestyle title.

Plott lost only to the graduated Abe Assad. O'Toole lost only to the graduated Jace Luchau.

Saunders and Kennedy won JR Freestyle.
