2019-20 High School Rankings

New Jersey finally got settled and it was actually a pretty clean results as far as rankings and movement go. #5 Evan Mougalian (NJ) had climbed to the top five this season and proved his supremacy in NJ this past weekend. The New Jersey crew all fell right in line according to their placement, holding down the five through eight spots.

Pennsylvania did work out so nicely and created quite a problem for rankers. #9 Vinny Kilkeary (PA) finished 8th at Powerade and didn’t win sectionals or regionals. He had seven losses on the year. However, he showed up at the right time and defeated highly regarded #11 Tyler Kasak (PA) in a wild semifinal 14-10. Kilkeary then hit a headlock in sudden victory to take home the AAA title. He wrestled at 82lbs a year ago. He grew some throughout the season and claimed to weigh in close to the 110lb limit on the final day of the state tournament.

#12 Jore Volk (MN) restored order in Minnesota and came away with his state title after being knocked off in his qualifier.

This weight class has been crazy all year long, and could be ranked several different ways according to how you value different wins and losses.
