A new top dog at 61 kg has emerged. Vito Arujau dominated the field in Vegas including Austin Desanto, who defeated 2022 World Teamer Seth Gross in the semis, moving Gross down to #3. Nahson Garrett had a great tournament, only losing to Arujau and defeating Nathan Tomasello, Daniel DeShazer, and Cody Brewer. 

Aden Valencia made his mark in his senior-level debut. While just a junior in high school, as a 7th place finisher, he is now World Team Trials Challenge Tournament eligible and the only high schooler currently in the rankings.
