2022-23 Wisconsin High School Rankings

170 pounds

Despite an upset loss earlier in the season at 182, Noah Mulvaney still leads the way in his drop to 170. Ethan Riddle has made the drop to 170 and hopped Silas Dailey with an 8-5 win this weekend. Kuchta has also carried an impressive resumé this season, collecting a 23-1 record against some tough in-state competition. Riddle will likely run into #6 Ben Ott at regionals, who has been a part of a myriad of high-scoring matches. Ryan Roy hops in at 7th in these rankings after being unranked at 182. He claimed a 6-3 win over #8 Toren Vandenbush, who more recently evened his season matchup with #9 Caden Young as a result of a 6-4 overtime win last weekend. The difference between the sixth and 15th-ranked guys at this weight has been very slim and will make for an entertaining postseason.
