2022-23 Wisconsin High School Rankings

220 pounds

Koy Hopke’s reign at 220 this year forces former 195-pound #1 Aeoden Sinclair to move to #2. If these two were to face off at state, it would easily be one of the biggest to watch for in the finals. Instead, they will try to add a tally onto their state titles list against a very young 220 field. Only three seniors made this final top 10 before state, including newcomer #9 Mason Wells, who makes his third trip to state after just eight matches. Last note on this weight, #7 Ryan Mazer comes back to the top 10 after four weeks off, and #10 Beckett Spilde picks up his first mention in the rankings after tons of big wins in the postseason.
