2022-23 Ohio Division I High School Rankings

157 pounds

The biggest shakeup at 157 over the district weekend was Evan Rizzo of Brecksville taking out former top five Andrew Supers in the Hoover district semi-final. Supers would beat former ranked wrestler Crevar who was moved to the bubble, and #9 Perrine. Rizzo was formally unranked and is now #6 heading into the state tournament. The top two at the weight, Birden and Earnest, took care of business, dominantly winning their districts.

Olentangy Liberty's Fitzpatrick took third in a strong district bracket, only losing to #1 Birden. However, he did beat a former ranked wrestler and several bubble wrestlers. Jack Willen made the finals of the Kettering Fairmont district beating former #10 George of Centerville. As a result, Willen will enter at #10 for the first time this season.
