It's hard to overstate how much exciting college wrestling took place this past weekend. All seven conferences held their championships over the last few days and determined the majority of the qualifiers for the 2024 NCAA Championships that will take place in less than two weeks in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Big Ten, the nation's toughest and deepest college wrestling conference will hold their championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10 in the Xfinity Center on the University of Maryland's College Park campus, and no we have the pressed for the tournament!

All the usual caveats apply. Whether or not an upset occurred was determined strictly by rankings and results that look like upsets this week may not look like upsets by the end of the season or even by next week.

U20 Nationals (formerly known as UWW Junior Nationals) is one of my favorite age-level tournaments every year. The 2021 Cadet World Team Trials attracted much of the top talent from around the country, and since there was no Cadet World Team Trials in 2020, it set the stage for a number of wrestlers to pull big upsets that will change the way they're perceived as recruits and on a national level.
