U20 Nationals (formerly known as UWW Junior Nationals) is one of my favorite age-level tournaments every year. The top high school upperclassmen get to test themselves against the best first or second year college guys who are often hungry to compete coming out of redshirt. It's the first step in making the Junior World Team as the winner of this event will earn an automatic berth to the best-of-three wrestle-off series against the World Team Trials challenge tournament champion in June.

It’s truly unfortunate we didn’t get to see Cornell compete this season. They were a legitimate trophy team contender. Luckily for us, they’ll be rolling out pretty much the exact same lineup in 2021-2022 that they would have this season.

High school wrestling is finally back in Iowa! After a long offseason, we won’t have to wait long for an action-packed weekend. 

Another big piece of the class of 2021 recruiting puzzle just snapped into place, as #2 Ryan Sokol committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Cornell.
