`Deep Creek High School is hosting its 1st Annual Women?s and JV Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 7th, 2023. Just remember this is a VHSL sanctioned event. This event will be held on Trackwrestling. All wrestlers must be on an official weigh in form. Here are the specifics: EVENT: Women?s and JV Wrestling Individual Tournament DATE: Saturday, January 07, 2023 Onsite Registration: 8:00am-9:00am WEIGH-IN: 8:00 to 9:00 AM at Deep Creek High School. Women?s Wt. Classes: 100, 106, 112, 118, 127, 136, 146, 156, 170, 185, 225 JV Wt. CLASSES: 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285 TIMES: Wrestling begins at 10:00 A.M. SEEDING: None. We will only try to separate wrestlers from the same school in the first round. ELIGIBLE: All wrestlers must be on MEL. FEE: $30 Entry fee per Wrestler/$300 max per team AWARDS: Medals for top four places. No team points kept. RULES: VHSL rules. FORMAT: We will use Trackwrestling.com and need the coaches to enter their wrestlers before 10pm Jan. 6th, 2023 Wrestlers will be separated into brackets of 8 if possible. Round Robin brackets may be used for smaller groups. Remember the wrestlers still need to follow VHSL Weight Management Program. Rounds will be 2-1-1. We will place thru 4th place.
