Fargo and FloNationals champ Dom Serrano has verbally committed to wrestle for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Serrano becomes the first member of the junior class to commit to Nebraska. As for the senior class, Ridge Lovett, Tyler Deen, Kevon Davenport, Bubba Wilson, John Henrich, and Isaiah Alford will all be waiting for him.

A two-time Colorado state champ for Windsor high school, Serrano is currently ranked sixth at 126lbs. He is the second highest ranked wrestler from Colorado at any weight and carries an 83-0 career record into this season.

Coming in at #10 on the 2020 Big Board (which is being updated this week), he now becomes the fourth junior in the Top-10 to commit. Along with Patrick Kennedy, they are the only ones who has verballed to Big Ten schools.

We have Serrano projected to be a 141 at the next level, rating him fifth in the prospect rankings. No matter where he ends up, he'll be slotted in right near true freshman 125 Alex Thomsen and incoming 2019 recruit Lovett.

Besides his titles at FloNats and Fargo Cadet freestyle, he also placed sixth in Akron this June and seventh last month at Super 32.
