2022-23 NCAA Division III Rankings

133 pounds

It is regional week in DIII! The six super regionals will determine the NCAA field and give us a clearer picture of what the team race will look like in Roanoke, Virginia. Not too much movement in the final individual and team polls heading into the postseason. Wartburg holds down the #1 spot in both polls and continue to be the favorite, the Knights historically compete in one of the deeper regionals and will be battling to qualify as many wrestlers as possible in the Lower Midwest Regional. Augsburg and Johnson & Wales are going to look to follow suit to be team title contenders in March. Baldwin Wallace comes in at #4 in the last tournament poll and are led by #1 149 Michael Petrella and returning NCAA Champion Jacob Decatur. The Yellow Jackets will look to be a strong contingent of their line-up to the NCAA Championships and improve on their 8th-place finish from 2022.

The Southeast, Upper Midwest, Mideast, and Lower Midwest regionals will take place on Friday and Saturday. The Northeast and Central Regionals will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
